DOUBLE CHOCOLATE COOKIES
Ingredients
COOKIES
- ½ Cup Butter
- ¾ Cup Brown Sugar tightly packed
- 1 Egg
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 3 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate-Melted
- 2 Cups Flour
- ½ Teaspoon Baking Powder
- ¼ Teaspoon Baking Soda
- ¼ Teaspoon Salt
- 2/3 Cup Milk
FROSTING
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- ¼ Cup Milk
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter. Add sugar gradually. Beat in egg, vanilla, and cooled chocolate. Alternately add sifted dry ingredients and milk. Drop tablespoon-sized cookies 2” apart onto greased cookie sheet. Makes 2 dozen cookies. Cool then frost.
- Frosting: melt chocolate with butter and milk. Blend in the sugar and vanilla. Frost cookies.
